West Central Middle/High

Welcome to West Central Middle/High School! We’re glad you stopped by to see our website. We have a fantastic staff, a supportive community and a wonderful school. Centrally located in the western half of Pulaski County on one large campus with the elementary school and all of our athletic facilities, West Central Middle/High School is a place preparing students for the future.

At the Middle School, students are provided a well-rounded education, including math, language arts, science, social studies, and health. Additionally, they are offered a myriad of enrichment opportunities in art, music, drama, athletics, and much, much more. The Middle School has a fully-certified staff and boasts a full-time counselor to ensure student needs are met.

At the High School opportunities abound. In addition to the core curriculum, West Central offers career pathways including the opportunity to earn a certificate in welding, be licensed as a certified nurse’s assistant, become Red Cross certified as a lifeguard, or earn credits in advanced manufacturing, mechanical drawing, and business. Credit recovery is available in the Trojan Opportunity Academy for those students who transfer and may need to make up some coursework or desire to take niche courses such as photography or sign language. Extracurricular activities include sports, band, choir, drama, FFA, and many others.

West Central Middle/High School is proud to offer a world-class education to students in the spirit of our school’s undergirding guidelines: Unity, Humility, Passion, Servanthood, and Thankfulness

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

Mike Carlson, Principal
