WCSC Information Regarding COVID-19

In compliance with the order from Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, West Central Schools will remain closed for the remainder of the school year. West Central staff will continue to serve the community's needs in the following ways.

West Central will use waiver days or planned days off for Mondays and Fridays. We will conduct eLearning days every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This pattern will continue through the end of the school year.

To better serve our students and community and ensure our students get the best possible education during our building closure, we’re making some adjustments for the month of April. Read below!

Meals - West Central will be providing breakfast and lunch to children age 18 and under. Click here for more details.

Student Work - The month of April

Student Work  - Work will be dropped off as arranged with your bus driver every Monday. For non-bus riders, the work can be picked up at the Elementary School at Door C as arranged or on Mondays and Fridays from 1:00pm-6:00pm.

There are many questions that are still unanswered. They will remain unanswered until more details are provided by the state and we know how long social distancing will be required for public safety. Until we have more answers, we want to thank the community for its patience and flexibility as we work to provide for our students’ educational needs under these great circumstantial limitations.

Questions about eLearning vs. Paper Packets should be directed to teachers.
